What are the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and how are they related?

How does the program work?
Volunteer committees plan and host more than 160 golf tournaments annually. The Jimmy Fund Golf office staff is always available to guide volunteers through the planning process and to offer advice. Tournament proceeds benefit the Jimmy Fund which supports the groundbreaking cancer research and compassionate patient care for children and adults at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Over 25,000 participants each year enjoy the unique opportunity of playing on a variety of golf courses, some very prestigious.

Most Jimmy Fund golf tournaments are held in New England, but the global impact of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has resulted in Jimmy Fund golf tournaments coast to coast. See our Calendar
I'd like to host a tournament. How do I get started?

I'd like to play in an existing tournament. How can I find an event near me?
Our Tournament Calendar lists all events by month and state, so you can find an event that suits your schedule and location. Please check the calendar often as new tournament dates are frequently added. See our Calendar
I don't live in New England. Can I still host a tournament?
Absolutely. While the majority of the events are run in the Northeast, there are tournaments in Virginia, Florida...even Washington State. We'll do everything we can to help you run your tournament regardless of location. Learn more
I don't play golf, but I want to get involved. How can I help?
You don't need to be a golfer to help. You can join an existing tournament committee to assist in planning their event, or get involved by encouraging your corporation or organization to become a sponsor or to make an in-kind donation of goods or services. Contact us
