New Stars for Young Stars

Tickets purchased after 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, will be available for pick-up at Jillian's on Saturday morning. Any tickets purchased before this time will be mailed to the address provided.

Presented by the Jimmy Fund Council of Greater Boston, this Boston Red Sox autograph-signing event provides a unique and memorable opportunity to meet and greet some of the newer Red Sox players, as well as many of the up-and-coming minor league players from the Red Sox organization.

Before the event opens to the public, the players make the day extra special for Jimmy Fund Clinic patients and their families by privately signing autographs, bowling, and playing pool with the kids.

The 2009 event welcomes the following players*:

Chris Carter — Red Sox outfielder
Lars Anderson — 2008 Red Sox Minor League Player of the Year
Daniel Bard — 2008 Red Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Year
George Kottaras — Red Sox catcher
Josh Reddick — SoxProspects.com #3 ranked prospect
Jason Place — Red Sox 2006 first round draft pick
Richie Lentz — SoxProspects.com All Star
Special Guest Terry Francona

*Please note players are subject to change. One autograph per player, per ticket holder. While guests are not allowed autographs, they are welcome to enjoy the bowling contests, silent auction, and sports memorabilia sales.
