WEEI / NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon
Thursday and Friday, August 14 - 15, 2008
Thank you for helping the Jimmy Fund raise more than $4.8 million in the 7th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. Since 2002, your generous support of this event has raised more than $16 million to support research and care for both children and adults at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The 36-hour Radio-Telethon was broadcast live on WEEI and NESN. In addition, this year's event included Trophy Talk with Boston's Best and Sit Down with the Sox at Fenway Park as well as various events across the U.S.
In addition to luncheons at Fenway Park and events across the U.S., the 2008 event included the Jimmy Fund/Boston Red Sox World Series Commemorative Ring auction. Thanks to your support, the ring auction raised a total of $90,961 for the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. In total, the 2008 All-Star Online Auction raised more than $130,000. Auction details
