Scooper Schools
Now in its third year, the Jimmy Fund Scooper Schools program hopes to get even more Massachusetts and New England schools involved. Does your school have what it takes to become a Scooper School? Read on to find out.
Scooper Schools provides students of New England the opportunity to plan and participate in a fun-filled event while fundraising for the Jimmy Fund. By doing so, these children are able to tap into their creativity, build self-confidence, and most importantly, learn the importance of philanthropy by fundraising in their school.

Teaching children the critical importance of philanthropy and volunteerism in building a better society is a fundamental goal of the Jimmy Fund Scooper Schools Program. The act of giving unleashes the idea that a child can touch someone's life, and by participating in Scooper Schools, children will learn that they too can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Scooper Schools participants receive:
- Jimmy Fund ice cream cups (while supplies last)
- Scooper Bowl posters and Jimmy Fund banners
- A group photo and special Thank You mention at the event
- School name listed on the Scooper Schools fundraising cone
- School name listed on the Scooper Bowl website
In addition, your school has the opportunity to win free admission to the event:
- $1,000 or more – Free admission for 125 students/teachers
- $500 or more – Free admission for 75 students/teachers
- $250 or more – Free admission for 25 students/teachers
The Top Fundraising School will also receive a special recognition plaque.
